New Castle County Police Issues “Gold Alert,” Seeks Missing Person

The New Castle County Police are currently searching for Bisit Stewart, a 77-year-old man missing from the unit block of West  Dale Road in Wilmington.

(Wilmington, Del.-19810) The New Castle County Police responded to a home in Northfield for the report of a missing person.  Officers learned Bisit suffers from Dementia and left his home at approximately 1:45 this afternoon.

Bisit was last seen packing his car with clothing and making statements that he was heading to North Carolina.  Officers learned Bisit does not not well and easily gets lost and confused when driving.

Bisit Stewart is described as a Caucasian man, 5’8’’ tall, weighing approximately 150lbs. with balding gray hair.  He was last seen wearing a gray long sleeve sweater, tan pants, white sneakers and metal glasses.  He was last seen leaving his home in a gray/silver 2002 Buick Century with Delaware registration 388854.
