Food Delivery Driver Robbery, Edgewood Hills

The New Castle County Police are currently investigating the robbery of a food delivery driver that occurred in the community of Edgewood Hills.

(Wilmington, Del.-19809) On Wednesday (11/22) evening at approximately 10:40 p.m., New Castle County Police responded to the unit block of Brandywine Boulevard in reference to a robbery.  Officers learned the 34-year-old food delivery driver was delivering food to a home when he was approached by two suspects, one of which was displaying a handgun and demanding money.

The victim handed over and undisclosed amount of money while the other suspect removed money from the victim’s car.  Both suspects fled the area on foot.

The suspect brandishing the handgun is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 5’9’’ tall, thin build, and wearing a light colored jacket.
