New Castle County Police are currently on scene in The Vinings community conducting a suspicious death investigation.

(Newark, Del. – 19702) Earlier today (Jan. 26) at approximately 6:30a.m., County Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Vinings Way for a suspicious death.  Upon arrival, officers located the 25-year-old deceased female victim and called for detectives.

Detectives responded to the scene and have assumed the investigation.

This is an active and ongoing investigation; further information will be released as it becomes available.
