New Castle County Police have arrested 21-year-old Tucker Barnes following a call for a person breaking into vehicles in the community of Christiana Court Apartments.
(Wilmington, Del. – 19804) Early this morning (Mar 21) at about 2:20 a.m., County Police “C-Squad” patrol officers were dispatched to the area of Christiana Court Apartments for a subject dressed in camouflage breaking into vehicles. Upon arrival, police were able to locate and subsequently arrest the subject, identified as Tucker Barnes, without incident. Officers were able to recover stolen property and return it to the owner.
Tucker Barnes, of the unit block of Rothwell Dr in Wilmington, was charged with third-degree burglary, attempted third-degree burglary, possession of burglar tools, felony theft, criminal mischief and night prowling. He was arraigned and committed to Young Correctional Institution after failing to post $6,000 secured bail. He was issued a no contact order with Christiana Court Apartments.
