Police Investigate Shooting- Lancaster Village

New Castle County Police are currently investigating a shooting that injured a 26-year-old man in the community of Lancaster Village.

(Wilmington, Del. – 19805) Today (April 17) at about 1:30a.m., County Police were dispatched to the area of Lancaster Village for a shots fired report.  Officers checked the area but did not locate a victim.  The victim was later located at an area hospital suffering an apparent gunshot wound; he was transported there by personal vehicle.  The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released.

Detectives responded to the scene, located on Faulkland Rd in the area of RT 100, and have assumed the investigation.
