County Police Continue to Investigate Fatal Hit-and-Run in Dunleith

The New Castle County Police have identified the victim of the Sunday morning fatal hit-and-run in Dunleith.

(New Castle, Del.) Investigators have identified the victim as Victor Madric, 52, from the 400 block of Robinson Drive.  The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was located by responding units in the roadway suffering from severe injuries.  Madric was transported to the Christiana Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Further investigation revealed alcohol may be a factor in the crash.  A witness reported observing a white or light colored sedan run over Madric and continue on Anderson Drive without stopping.
