New Castle County Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the community of Burn Brae.

Yesterday (October 17) at approximately 9:30 p.m., County Police were dispatched to the unit block of Highland Blvd for the report of a shooting.  Police learned that a 15-year-old male had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

He is being treated at an area hospital for his injuries.

Detectives responded to the scene and have assumed the investigation.
