NEW CASTLE COUNTY POLICE CAR STOP YIELDS AN ASSORTMENT OF ILLEGAL DRUGS.

(Newark, Del 19702) On Friday, (February 9) officers from the New Castle County Police Mobile Enforcement Team saw a blue vehicle driving on Brookmont Drive- out of the community of Sparrow Run,  towards Route 40. The officers stopped the vehicle for a registration violation.

Upon making contact with the driver, 30-year-old Tonio Dredden, officers were able to clearly observe a bundle of heroin in the driver side door, alongside was a white bag of crack cocaine.

Tonio Dredden was taken into custody and searched. During the search, he was found to also have marijuana in his pocket.

In total, Tonio Dredden was found to be in possession of 9 bags of Heroin, 4.8 grams of Marijuana, and 2.7 grams of Crack Cocaine.

Tonio Dreddon was charged with: (Felony) Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin, two counts of Possession of a Counterfeit Controlled Substance (Misdemeanor), Possession of Marijuana (Misdemeanor), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor), Driving while Suspended (License) and Expired Tags.    He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and was given $4,400 unsecured bail.
