New Castle County Police are searching for 20 year-old Kalif Reeves who is wanted for the shooting death of 22 year-old William Laws that occurred earlier this month.

(Newark, Del. 19713) Friday (March 9) at approximately 2:08 a.m., New Castle County Police were dispatched to the intersection of Malvern Rd and August Dr for a shooting just occurred. Police learned that 22 year-old William Laws suffered a gunshot wound to his torso. He was transported to an area hospital by emergency medical services where he was pronounced dead.

During the course of the investigation, The New Castle County Police Homicide Squad developed Kalif Reeves as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest. The Wilmington FBI office is assisting with the investigation.
