(Claymont, Del.-19703) This afternoon (Aug 30) Patrol Officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to a house near the intersection of Glenrock RD at Harvey Road for an accident.  When officers arrived they learned a Ford Escape had struck a house in the unit block of Harvey Road.   A New Castle County Code Inspector went to the scene and deemed the entire residence uninhabitable.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and the residents were not home at the time of the accident.  Officers do not believe alcohol and/or drugs are a factor in this accident. The investigation is ongoing.
