(Newark, De 19713) Today, (Sept 2) just after 6:00 a.m., patrol officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the area of building 34 Fairway Road, in Hunters Crossing Apartments for an assault report that occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m.   When the officers arrived to the scene they learned that the 33-year-old victim reported that when she returned home from work she was assaulted by an unknown male.

The victim described the suspect as being dark skinned black male, 5’10.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police, Criminal Investigations Unit arrived on scene and assumed the investigation.
