(New Castle, DE 19720) Earlier this evening (May 3) at approximately 8:40 p.m. officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the unit block of Mcmullen Ave, in the community of Manor Park, for a report of a domestic-related shooting.  When the officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old female victim suffering from a minor gunshot wound to the leg.  The officers were then able to take one suspect into custody.

The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived on scene and have assumed the investigation. They are not searching for any additional suspects or victims.
