GOLD ALERT ISSUED FOR MISSING GEORGIA TEEN-ANGEL HESTER

The New Castle County Division of Police is currently searching for 16-year-old, Angel Hester.

(Wilmington, DE 19803) Yesterday, (Sept 24), officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children for a report of a missing juvenile. 

When the units arrived, they learned that the Division of Family Services (DFS) had custody of 16-year-old Angel Hester; who was a runaway from Georgia.  While in their custody, Angel made statements that caused a concern for her welfare and then fled from a DFS vehicle in the area of Children’s Drive and Rockland Road.

Angel Hester is a black female, 5’02” 120lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last observed wearing a blue denim jacket with a black tank top and black leggings.
