(New Castle DE, 19720) Earlier today (Dec, 28th), patrol officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the area of Liborio Lane in the community of Buena Vista Park for a report of a shooting that had just occurred.

When the units arrived, they discovered two juveniles who had been shot in the lower torso.  They were transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived on scene and have assumed the investigation. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
