(Wilmington, DE 19804) Yesterday,  (June 26) officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the intersection of Laura Court and Champlain Ave for the report of a female lying in the roadway.  When the officers arrived, they observed that the female had no signs of life.

Detectives from the Traffic Services Unit have assumed the investigation.

Today, the detectives have determined the victim succumbed to her injuries as a result of a hit and run collision. The collision was deemed to have occurred early Friday (Jun 26) morning.

The detectives have also been able to identify the female as 43-year-old Kimberly Behrmann.
