Earlier this morning (Jan 1), patrol officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched  to the area of Skyline Drive and Ambler Court, in reference to a single motor vehicle collision.

Upon arrival, the officers observed a 2012 Infinity G37 that had been traveling eastbound on Skyline Drive had left the roadway and struck a tree.   

 All of the occupants were transported to a local area hospital for treatment.  Investigators from the New Castle County Division of Police, Traffic Services Unit arrived and assumed the investigation.

The 21-year-old driver of the Infinity is being treated for a left scalp fracture, and is in critical but stable condition. The front passenger, a 24-year-old female, is being treated for her injuries and is in stable condition. The rear passenger, a second 24-year-old female, is also being treated for her injuries, and she too is listed in critical but stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
