(New Castle, DE 19720) Wednesday, (Aug 25), Colonel Vaughn M. Bond Jr. promoted Captain Benjamin Feldmann and Captain John W. Treadwell Sr. to the rank of Major.

Major Feldmann joined the New Castle County Division of Police in 2002 and has served in the Uniformed Patrol Division, Special Operations and the Criminal Investigations Unit. He served in all three units as a supervisor. He has also been assigned as the Technology and Special Projects Section Commander and the Patrol Section Commander. Currently, he is the Criminal Investigations Section Commander.

Major Treadwell joined the New Castle County Division of Police in 1994 and has served in the Uniformed Patrol Division and the Criminal Investigations Unit. He served as a Commander in the Patrol Division before being assigned as the Commander of the Professional Standards Uni. Major Treadwell has also served as the Patrol Section Commander and the Technology and Special Projects Section Commander. Currently, he is the Behavioral Health Unit Commander.
