(Bear, Del.-19701) The New Castle County Division of Police, Traffic Services Unit, continues to investigate the hit and run collision that seriously injured an 8-year-old child in the area of Cardiff Way and Hazeltine Lane in the community of St. Andrews Addition Townhouses.
Investigators have learned the striking vehicle is a dark in color 2011-2013 Infiniti G37 sedan with right front-end damage. Investigators believe the damage to the vehicle includes the fog light, headlight, and bumper. It is also believed that the vehicle is missing a windshield wiper.
Witnesses reported observing the vehicle flee on Cardiff toward the community.
