(New Castle, DE 19720) On Tuesday, December 12, 2023, New Castle County Police detectives and Department of Corrections Probation and Parole officers conducted address compliance checks on sex offenders throughout New Castle County. Detectives and probation officers participated in the project resulting in 151 addresses being checked. Sex offender address compliance projects are conducted quarterly, and this is the second project that has been organized and completed. These projects help to build stronger interagency relationships and promote public safety through monitoring known offenders.
