(Claymont, DE 19703) On Thursday, February 20, 2025, around 11:44 p.m., patrol officers with the New Castle County Division of Police responded to ChristianaCare Wilmington Hospital after being notified that a 37-year-old male was at the ER with a gunshot wound. Through investigation, Officers learned that the male was shot while inside his vehicle at the intersection of Society Drive and Naamans Road while waiting for the light to change. The male then drove himself to the hospital, where he is in stable condition.
