Officers with the New Castle County Division of Police are currently in the area of 40 Westbound and Salem Church Road for a collision investigation.
Route 40 westbound will be closed from the area of Salem Church Road to Glasgow Drive. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate travel routes and avoid the area if possible. Updates will be shared as additional information becomes available.
