COLD CASE HOMICIDE: JANE PRICHARD (1986)

Investigation Details:

Jane Prichard, a graduate student at the University of Maryland studying botany, was found dead in Blackbird Forest State Park on the evening of September 20th, 1986, by two campers. Detectives determined she was fatally shot with an unknown firearm. She was last seen alive shortly after 10:00 AM by a hunter, who provided detailed descriptions of her clothing, vehicle, and scientific equipment.

Detectives are seeking to identify a possible suspect or witness. A composite sketch depicts a white male with a beard, approximately 5’9″ to 5’10” tall, medium build, wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans.
