(Wilmington, DE 19702) – The New Castle County Division of Police has issued a Gold Alert for 16-year-old Jacob “Jay” Nieves.
Jay left his residence in the 8000 block of Park Court within the Paladin Club Apartments at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026, and has not returned. Despite extensive efforts, officers have been unable to locate or contact him, and there is increasing concern for his health and safety.
Jay is described as 6’1” tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, a white T-shirt, and white shoes. His current location and possible destination are unknown.
