DETECTIVES ARREST FOURTH SUSPECT FOR PALADIN CLUB SHOOTING.

(Wilmington, DE 19802) On Monday, January 12, 2026, at approximately 9:16 p.m., Officers with the New Castle County Division of Police responded to a report of a shooting in progress in the 8600 block of Park Court at the Paladin Club Apartments.

Officers learned that an altercation occurred outside the apartment complex, during which gunfire struck a 15-year-old female, and debris from the incident caused a minor injury to a 44-year-old female. The 15-year-old female sustained a gunshot wound to her lower body. Responding Officers immediately rendered medical aid until New Castle County Paramedics arrived. She was transported to a local hospital, where she was treated and released. The 44-year-old female was evaluated at a local hospital as a precaution and later released.

During the incident, a 16-year-old male was also in the area and fled following the altercation; however, he was located later and found to be uninjured.

During the continued and thorough investigation, Detectives identified a fourth suspect, 19-year-old Alexander Corona. On Friday, February 20, 2026, members of the Fugitive Apprehension & Surveillance Team located Corona on North Rodney Drive in Wilmington and took him into custody.

Detectives charged Alexander Corona with the following:

Alexander Corona was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institution in lieu of a $44,000 secured bond.
