(Wilmington, DE 19803) – The New Castle County Division of Police is providing an update regarding the officer-involved shooting that occurred on March 3, 2026, in the unit block of Ramsey Road.
The 35-year-old male involved in the incident has been identified as Daniel Shacklett of Wilmington.
As part of the ongoing investigation, Daniel Shacklett’s body has been turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science.
