(Newark, DE 19702) On Monday, April 20, 2026, at approximately 2:50 p.m., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police responded to Christiana Hospital for a report of a walk-in gunshot victim.
Upon arrival, officers contacted a 30-year-old male who had sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was in critical condition and immediately received medical care from hospital personnel.
Officers determined the shooting may have occurred on Concord Bridge Place within the Centennial Village Townhouses community. They immediately responded to the area and located the scene in the 500 block of Concord Bridge Place.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Unit were notified, responded to the scene, and assumed the investigation.
