(Newark, DE 19702) The New Castle County Division of Police has issued a Gold Alert for 71-year-old Grace Bedford of Newark.
Grace walked away from her residence in the 200 block of Tinsley Court at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, without her cell phone and has not returned home.
Grace is described as approximately 5’2″ tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing green pants, a green jacket, a gray scarf wrapped around her head, and carrying a green handbag.
Grace was possibly spotted later that day at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Delaware Avenue in Newark.
Despite extensive efforts by officers to locate her, Grace has not been found, and there is increasing concern for her health and safety.
