Police Investigate Shooting in Wilton

Police are currently on scene investigating a shooting that left one man injured in the community of Wilton.

(New Castle, Del. – 19720) Today (October 31) at about 3:30p.m., County Police were dispatched to the area of Revelle St and Baylis St in reference to a shooting.  Upon arrival, police located a 43-year-old man suffering an apparent gunshot wound.  The man was provided first-aid on the scene and was transported to an area hospital by ambulance where he is listed in stable condition.

Detectives responded to the scene and have assumed the investigation.

Police Release Surveillance Photo of Burglary Suspect

New Castle County Police have released a surveillance photo of a burglary suspect and have asked the public for assistance in identifying the person.

(Newark, Del. – 19711) For the past two months, County Police have been investigating a string of burglaries in the community of Hunters Crossing Apartments.  Detectives believe the suspect [photo attached] is responsible for 12 burglaries in that community in the past months, the most recent occurred on October, 21.

Police Investigate Garfield Park Shooting

New Castle County Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the community of Garfield Park.

 

(New Castle, Del.- 19720) Last night (October 27) at about 8:40p.m., County Police were called to the unit block of Chesterfield Dr in reference to a shooting that had just occurred.  Upon arrival, officers located the 21-year-old male victim lying in the roadway, suffering an apparent gunshot wound.  He was transported to an area hospital via ambulance for medical treatment.  He was admitted to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
