The New Castle County Police, FBI Safe Streets Task Force charged Kelvin Daughtry, 30, from the 200 block of White Pine Court in Bear with selling Oxycodone.
(Bear, Del.-19801) Officers from the FBI Safe Streets Task Force arrested Daughtry on Monday, September 26th in the area of Peoples Plaza after observing him conduct a drug transaction. Daughtry was charged later that day with multiple counts of drug related offenses.
On Wednesday (10/5) officers were conducting surveillance in Amberwood and observed Daughtry conduct two additional drug transactions. He was taken into custody without incident where officers located 1-30mg Oxycodone tablet along with suspected drug proceeds on his person.
A search warrant was later conducted at his home where officers located the following:
16-Oxycodone 30mg
2-Oxycodone 15mg
15-Carisprodol 350mg
1- Ampetamine
1 -Hydrocodone
1 -Alprazolam
3-Non-controlled prescribed medication
Suspected drug proceeds
Kelvin Daughtry was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and five counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of posting $45,000 cash bail.
