New Castle County Police are actively investigating a shooting that left one man injured in the community of Garwood Estates.

(Bear, Del. – 19701) Sunday (Dec. 4) night at about 10:20p.m., County Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Garwood Dr for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 25-year-old man suffering an apparent gunshot wound.  The man was transported to an area hospital by ambulance where he is listed in stable condition.

Detectives responded to the scene and have assumed the investigation.
