New Castle County Police have arrested 19-year-old Darius Saddler for an active burglary warrant while in Glasgow Park.

(Newark, Del. – 19702) Yesterday (April 12), the Mounted Patrol Unit conducted patrol in the area of Glasgow Park.  Mounted officers observed Darius Saddler walking in the park and knew that he was wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred in early March in the area of Chelmsford Cir.  Mounted officers contacted Darius Saddler and arrested him from horseback without issue.

Darius Saddler was charged with second-degree burglary, felony theft, misdemeanor theft, selling stolen property and criminal mischief.

He was arraigned and committed to Young Correctional Institution after failing to post $10,300 secured bail.
