GOLD ALERT ISSUED FOR 83-YEAR OLD NEWARK MAN

New Castle County Police are currently searching for 83-year old, Daniel Little missing from the community of Rose Tree Hunt.

Today, (November 29) at approximately 11:35 a.m., New Castle County Police were dispatched to the unit block of Rose Tree Lane for a report of a missing person.  While there the officers learned that Daniel Little made statements that caused a concern for his welfare and left the residence on foot.

Daniel Little is described as a white male, 5’08” tall, blue eyes, and gray thinning hair.  He was last seen wearing a green jacket and black sneakers.

Crime Alert: Police Investigate Multiple Attempted Burglaries And Thefts From Motor Vehicles In The Community Of Delaire

New Castle County Police are investigating multiple attempted burglaries and thefts from motor vehicles in the Delaire Community.

(Wilmington, Del. 19809) Today(November 29) at approximately 5:00 a.m., patrol officers were dispatched to the unit block of Sunset Dr in the community  of Delaire  for the report of multiple thefts from motor vehicles. Approximately 4 vehicles were entered with various amounts of cash removed. A majority of the vehicles were left unsecured.  Police also learned that 2 homes within the community were broke into with various items stolen. And 2 additional residents had damage to their property indicating someone attempted to enter their home.

Residents are reminded to “PARK SMART” by locking car doors, removing valuables and keys. Citizens are also encouraged to follow NCCPD on Twitter and Facebook for the 9 p.m. reminder to lock their vehicles and secure their residence for the night.

Update To Injured Male Found In Valley Wood

New Castle County Police Detectives have positively identified the injured male as 31-year-old Anthony Phippin of the 3300 block of Stone Place Blvd in Bear.

He remains at an area hospital in critical condition.

New Castle County Police Detectives continue to investigate the cause of this incident. Further details will be released as they become available.
