(Newark,19702) On Tuesday (November 28) New Castle County Police investigated the discovery of an injured adult male who was located in the area of Freedom Road and 76th Street in the neighborhood of Valley Wood.

New Castle County Police Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Unit have positively identified the injured male as 31-year-old Anthony Phippin of the 3300 block of Stone Place in Bear.

Anthony Phippin succumbed to his injuries on November 28th.  Investigators are now investigating this incident as a suspicious death.
