POLICE ARREST TWO FOR MULTIPLE BURGLARIES, REQUEST ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING STOLEN PROPERTY

(New Castle, DE 19720) Throughout the months of December 2019 and January 2020,  detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit Property Squad have been investigating multiple burglaries that have occurred in and around the communities of Meeting House Hill, Old Post Farm, and Kirkwood Gardens.

The extensive investigation revealed that 38-year-old Brian Stigile of Wilmington, DE and 36-year-old Ashlie Marshall of Earlville, MD were responsible for these incidents.

According to the investigation, the couple would pick out a house. Stigile would then enter the house either by using force or through an unlocked window/door.  Marshall would wait in a vehicle and drive away when Stigile returned with the stolen property.

On February 1st, 2020 both subjects were apprehended and charged with: three counts of felony Burglary to a Residence, three counts of felony Theft Victim is over 62, two counts of felony Theft Over $1500, three counts of felony Conspiracy 2nd, one count of Selling Stolen Property and three counts of misdemeanor Criminal Mischief.

Both were arraigned by New Castle County Superior Court, Stigile is being held on $27,000 secured bail and Marshall is being held on $20,500 secured bail.

GOLD ALERT ISSUED FOR MAN MISSING FROM MARYLAND PARK APARTMENTS: MIGUEL LORENZO

The New Castle County Division of Police is currently searching for 19-year-old, Miguel Lorenzo.

(Wilmington, DE 19805 ) Yesterday (Feb 26), officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the unit block of Robinson Court, in the community of Maryland Park Apartments for a missing person report. Upon their arrival, the officers learned that 19-year-old Miguel Lorenzo had sent text messages to his family which contained statements that caused a concern for his welfare.

Miguel Lorenzo is a Hispanic male, 6’03, 2 lb10s, black hair, and brown eyes. His clothing description is unknown.  He does drive a gray, 2008 Honda Accord, with an unknown registration number.
