Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police are investigating a home invasion in the community of Todd Estates.

(Newark, DE 19713) During the early morning hours of December 13^th, 2020, at approximately 12:27 A.M., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the unit block of Todd Lane in the community of Todd Estates, for a report of a Home Invasion.

Upon arrival, officers located a 48-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police, Criminal Investigations Unit arrived at the scene and assumed the investigation.  This investigation is ongoing and in its early stages.  Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

The New Castle County Division of Police are requesting assistance in the investigation of a shooting in Edgemoor

(Wilmington, DE 19809) Yesterday, (December 12^th, 2020) at approximately 9:00 P.M., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the area of Polk Drive, in the community of Edgemoor for the report of a shooting that had just occurred.

When the officers arrived, they discovered a 23-year-old victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound.

She was transported to a local area hospital where she is listed in stable condition.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived at the scene and assumed the investigation.

This is an active and ongoing investigation, future updates to follow.

Detectives from New Castle County Division of Police are investigating a double homicide in the investigation of a double homicide in Hunters Crossing Apartments.

(Newark, DE 19711) Yesterday (December 12^th, 2020) at approximately 9:17 P.M., Officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the area of Fairway Road for reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, the responding officers discovered a 23-year-old male, and an 18-year-old female suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers immediately started life savings efforts however, both victims died from their wounds.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police; Criminal Investigation Unit arrived at the scene and assumed the investigation.

This is an active and on-going investigation, further updates will follow.
