(New Castle, DE 19720) The New Castle County Division of Police has issued a Gold Alert for 32-year-old Cherell Brooks.

Cherell was last seen in the 100 block of Sugarberry Drive around 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026. She may be headed to Atlantic City, but her exact location is unknown.

Despite extensive efforts, Officers have been unable to locate or contact Cherell, and there is concern for her health and safety.

Cherell is described as a black female, 5’8”, 158lbs., with brown hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo of the “Leo” zodiac sign on her right upper arm. She was last seen wearing a red jacket, white and gray sweatpants, and brown UGG boots. She may be traveling by bus.
