POLICE ARREST ATTEMPTED MURDER SUSPECT

New Castle County Police have arrested 22-year-old Enfiniti Webb for Attempted Murder charges.

(Claymont, 19703) Yesterday, at approximately 2:44 P.M., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the unit block of Denham Avenue for reports of shots fired. Upon their arrival, the officers discovered a 31-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body. Officers rendered aid, and the victim was air lifted to a local area hospital. As of the time of this posting, the victim is listed in critical condition.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police, Criminal Investigations Unit, Major Crimes Squad, were notified and assumed the investigation.

Detectives learned that the victim of this incident was shot while he was placing his infant child inside his vehicle. It should be noted that the child was not injured.

Through investigative methods, detectives were able to develop Enfiniti Webb as a suspect for this incident. During the nighttime hours, officers from the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team served the arrest warrant and apprehended Enfiniti without incident.

Enfiniti Webb was charged with one Felony count of Attempted Murder in the First Degree, one Felony count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and one count of Felony Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree.

Enfiniti Webb was processed and arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11and is held in lieu of $625, 000 cash bail.

POLICE INVESTIGATE SHOOTING IN THE COMMUNITY OF RIVERS END

The New Castle County Division of Police are requesting assistance in the investigation of a shooting in the community of Rivers End

(Bear, DE 19701) On Saturday (April 24, 2021) at approximately 9:41 P.M., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the area of South St. Georges Terrace, in the community of Rivers End for the report of a shooting that had just occurred.

When the officers arrived, they were notified that a 39-year-old victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound had just checked himself into a local area hospital.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived at the scene and assumed the investigation.

This is an active and ongoing investigation, future updates to follow.

GOLD ALERT ISSUED FOR MISSING NEWARK MAN JOSHUA JENKINS

The New Castle County Police Department is searching for 34-year-old Joshua Jenkins.

(Newark, DE 19702) Yesterday (April 19th, 2021), officers from the New Castle County Division of Police responded to a check on the welfare in the area of Hastings Court, in the community of Glasgow Pines. Upon arrival, officers were advised that Joshua Jenkins had left the area and made statements that causes concern for his welfare.

Joshua Jenkins is described as a white male, 5’10 weighing approximately 180 lbs. He was last seen wearing a green coat with a gray hood with black pants.
