TEENS ADAPTIVE TRICYCLE STOLEN-WILMINGTON

(Wilmington, 19809) On Saturday, May 18, 2024, New Castle County Division of Police responded to the 5200 block of Le Parc Drive in Wilmington for the report of a stolen adaptive tricycle. The Officer arrived on scene and contacted the victim who stated a custom-made adaptive tricycle was stolen from the backyard.

Officers reviewed surveillance cameras and observed two juveniles wearing all black with black backpacks remove the tricycle from the backyard.

The bicycle is described as yellow tricycle with a ‘Preston’s Bike’ Sticker, white basket and red handles (see photo).

UPDATE:

As the investigation continues, we have learned that after the two subjects were observed with the tricycle,  they fled on foot.  The tricycle was left in a nearby wooded area.  Before the tricycle could be picked up, it was removed from the woods.
