Shooting Investigation, Creeks of Marshallton Apartments

The New Castle County Police have charged Shuron Lively, 26, from the 2200 block of Melson Road and Antwyne Pugh, 29, from the 2100 block of Melson Road with multiple counts of reckless endangering after a shots fired complaint that occurred in the Creeks of Marshallton Apartments.

(Wilmington. Del.-19808) On Monday (11/7) at approximately 9:30 p.m., New Castle County Police responded to the 2100 block of Melson Road (Creeks of Marshallton Apartments) in reference to an in progress report of a shooting.

Officers arrived and observed evidence consistent with a shooting in the stairwell.  Officers initially thought a male victim was injured, but upon further investigation it was determined the man sustained an injury to his hand after striking an Air Conditioning unit.

The preliminary investigation revealed one of the male victims had an argument with unknown suspects outside of his apartment building moments before the shooting.

Detectives were called to the scene and developed Lively as one of the suspects involved in the shooting.

On Tuesday (11/8), officers conducting proactive patrol in the area spotted Lively operating a maroon sedan along with two additional passengers.  A traffic stop was conducted and Lively, the driver along with Pugh, the rear passenger, were taken into custody without incident.

Officers located a weapon and a small amount of marijuana inside the car.

Shuron Lively and Antwyne Pugh were charged with three counts of reckless endangering in the first degree, possession of a firearm during the commission of felony and conspiracy in the second degree.  They were both issued $23,500 secured bail and issued a no contact order and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of posting bail.
