New Castle County Police have arrested Glenn Randolph, 22, and Gibriel Turay, 19, for drug and gun related charges in the community of Forrest Glen II.
(Bear, Del.- 19701) On Sunday night (Jan. 22) at about 10:30p.m., “D-Squad” patrol officers were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Wimbledon Ct in reference to a drug violation in progress. Upon arrival, police observed a man, later identified as Gibriel Turay, run into the residence. Officers observed a white Toyota Camry parked in front of the residence with a person, later identified as Glenn Randolph, standing next to it. Officers made contact with Glenn Randolph and observed marijuana within the vehicle. Gibriel Turay then exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident.
Upon a search of the vehicle, police located 626 bags of heroin, 80 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Officers continued the investigation and obtained a search warrant for the residence. Upon a search of the residence, police located three handguns, 29.5 grams of raw (unpackaged) heroin- approximately equivalent to the weight of 1,965 bags- and additional drug paraphernalia.
Glenn Randolph was charged with possession of heroin in a Tier-3 quantity, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned and committed to Young Correctional Institution after failing to post $45,500 secured bail.
Gibriel Turay was charged with three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, three counts of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited due to a previous felony conviction, possession of heroin in a Tier-5 quantity, aggravated possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of a weapon with an obliterated serial number and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned and committed to Young Correctional Institution after failing to post $141,000 secured bail.
