New Castle County Police have arrested  23-year-old Andre Queen for the May 27 shooting of a 20-year-old in the community of Bayview Manor.

(New Castle, Del.-19720)  On Saturday (May 27) at approximately 1:15 p.m., New Castle County Police responded to the 200 block of Keller Beyer Road (Bayview Manor) in reference to the report of several gunshots and a 20-year-old male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Through the investigation, major crimes detectives developed 23-year-old Andre Queen as a suspect.  Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Andre Queen of the unit block of Chaddwyck Blvd.  On Friday, June 2 Andre Queen was taken into custody and in possession of a firearm in the Sunnyside apartments Smyrna, Del.

Andre Queen was charged with attempted murder first and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.  Andre Queen was committed to Howard Young Correctional Institute after failing to post $710,000.00 cash bail.
