Last Friday (September 8) Patrol Officers were dispatched to the neighborhoods of Wilmington Manor Gardens, Minquadale Trailer Park, East Minquadale, Chelsea Estates and Hampton Walk Apartments, for reports of Thefts from Motor Vehicles.  Over five vehicles were entered, all via unlocked doors.  Four juvenile suspects, ranging in age from 12-14 years old were identified and of which two have been arrested.  The juveniles were able to travel between neighborhoods on bicycles and only entered unsecured vehicles.  The arrested juveniles were arraigned and Released on Their Own Recognizance.

Residents are reminded to “PARK SMART” by locking car doors, removing valuables and keys.
