(Wilmington, DE 19802) Yesterday, (Aug 30) Patrol Units from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the area of Rysing Dr and Polk Drive in the community of Edgemoor for a report of shots fired.  When the officers arrived on scene they learned that one 19-year-old male had been grazed.  The victim had been transported to a local hospital where he was treated and release for a graze wound to his upper extremities.

Detectives from the New Castle County Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived on scene and have assumed the investigation.  This is an active and ongoing investigation.
