On Thursday (02/21/19) officers from the New Castle Division of Police were dispatched to the unit block of South Cedar Creek Court in community of Rivers End for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, a single victim was located inside the residence and was determined to have a single gunshot wound to the lower extremities.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived on scene and assumed the investigation. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
