New Castle County Police are actively investigating an apparent Homicide that occurred in the community of Sparrow Run.

(New Castle, DE 19720) Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit Homicide Squad have identified the victim as 19-year-old Dyron Nuriddin.

Currently, this is still an active and ongoing investigation.   However,  the investigation has already revealed that this was not a random act and there are no direct threats to the safety of the community.
