CALL FOR SERVICE LEADS TO GUN ARREST IN NEW CASTLE COUNTY PARKLAND

The New Castle County Police have arrested 18-year-old Kemuel Luo for possession of a stolen firearm.

(Newark, 19702) On Friday (July 5) at about 07:00 p.m., Patrol Officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the area of 150 Aspen Drive (Weiss Park) in the community of Salem Woods for a report of a person with a gun.

Upon arrival, officers were able to quickly identify the suspect and detained him.  Upon further investigation, the officers learned that the subject; Kemuel Luo was in possession of a stolen black handgun.

Kemuel Luo was charged with one felony count of Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon, and a misdemeanor count of Receiving Stolen Property. He was arraigned and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institution after failing to pay $3,000.00, Secured Bond.

GOLD ALERT ISSUED FOR MISSING MCMICHAELS TRAILER PARK MAN-WILLIAM WILSON

The New Castle County Division of Police is currently searching for 24-year-old William Wilson

(Wilmington, DE 19804) Earlier today (June 8), officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to Mcmichaels Trailer Park, for a report of a missing person. When the officers arrived at the residence they learned that 24-year-old William Wilson left his residence after making statements that caused a concern for his welfare.

William Wilson is described as a white male 5’06” 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. William has numerous tattoos on his arms and chest and was last seen wearing a red shirt with yellow writing, black shorts, red shoes, and a 76ers hat.

POLICE RESPOND TO A LARGE FIGHT AND ARREST TWO SUSPECTS IN A STABBING.

(Wilmington, DE 19805) Last night, (July 3) at approximately 8:00 p.m., patrol officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the unit block of Mary Ella drive in the community of Chestnut Run Village for the report of a person who had been stabbed.  As the officers were driving to the scene, they began to receive numerous calls regarding a large fight involving machetes, and baseball bats.

When the officers arrived the officers located the 47-year-old male victim and had him transported to a local hospital.  He was later treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Patrol officers then learned that the suspects had fled into an area apartment building.  Officers set up a perimeter and eventually made contact with 26-year-old Mario Alberto Lara-Landeros, and 34-year-old  Alejandro Mendoza.  After a brief investigation, both suspects were taken into custody and transported to a local hospital for minor injuries received in the fight. After being treated they were transported to the New Castle County Division of Police Headquarters.

Both Mario Lara-Landeros and Alejandro Mendoza were charged with one count each: felony Aggravated Menacing, felony Conspiracy Second Degree and misdemeanor Assault Third Degree.  They were arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 11 and held in lieu of $4000 secured bail.
