(Wilmington DE, 19805) Last night, (December 12th) at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the unit block of Simca Lane, in Dorjul Apartments for reports of a shooting which had just occurred.

Several patrol units arrived at the scene and located 42-year-old Roger Williams, who suffered from an apparent gunshot wound. Lifesaving efforts were initiated; however, the victim was later pronounced deceased after being transported to an area hospital.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived at the scene and assumed the investigation.
