(New Castle, DE 19720) Yesterday (July 4th) Officers from New Castle County Police were notified that 3 adult males suffering gunshot wounds had been transported to a local hospital.

Officers were able to ascertain that the incident occurred in the community of Rosegate, during a large gathering in the area of Rosegate park. 

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived on scene and have assumed the investigation. This is an active and ongoing investigation.

As of today (July 5th) one of the victims succumbed to his wounds.
