On 08/30/20 at approximately 6:20 P.M., Officers from the New Castle County Division of Police responded to the unit block of North Avon Drive in the community of Ashbourne Hills, for a report of a Domestic Dispute.

During the course of the investigation, an officer discharged their weapon striking a suspect. The suspect was transported to a local area hospital for treatment.

This is an active investigation and more information will be forthcoming.
