New Castle County Police arrest 20-year-old Jaylin Greenidge & 19-year-old Jaden Singletary for drug and firearm charges.
(Claymont, 19703) Last Thursday (June 10), officers from the New Castle County Police stopped a Black Nissan Altima for a traffic violation in the area of Darley Road and Lenape Way, Wilmington. During the car stop, the officers contacted the driver of the vehicle; 20-year-old Jaylin Greenidge & his passenger 19-year-old Jaden Singletary.
During the interaction, officers noticed evidence of Marijuana which lead to a search. During a search of the car, officers located a 9 mm caliber “Ghost Gun”, another 9 mm Taurus semi-automatic handgun, and 2.46 grams of marijuana.
Jaylin Greenidge was charged with one count of felony Carrying Concealed Deadly Weapon A Firearm., one count of felony Possession of a Semi-Auto weapon and a Controlled Substance, and the following traffic offenses, Failure to have Proof of Insurance, Driving Without a Valid License , and License Plate Covered with Tinted Material. He was also charged with one count of Possession of Marijuana.
The passenger Jaden Singletary was charged with one count of felony Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon A Firearm, and one count of Possession of Deadly Weapon by Person Prohibited Prior Violent Felony.
Jaylin Greenidge was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court11 held in lieu of $3900 cash bail.
Jaden Singletary was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11, and held in lieu of $3500 secured bail.
